Respite Care

Respite care best described as a temporary 24-hour live-in care. While a majority of families take great joy in taking care of their loved ones so that they are able to stay home, the emotional, physical and financial consequences for the family caregivers can be somewhat overwhelming without some form of support, such as the respite programs. These programs provide a break for the family caregiver which can have a very positive impact on the physical as well as emotional health of the family caregiver.
